Welcome! I am Juliet Schmitt and my pronouns are She/Her/Hers. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North County San Diego, specializing in working with children, teens, individuals, parents & families. I have been working as a licensed therapist for over 20 years assisting clients who are dealing with understanding their identity, experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, divorce, parenting struggles, stress & overwhelm, and difficulties with emotion regulation & social skills. I have passion for working with members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) community -- which began with an internship in 1993 and continues today. I am blessed with a queer/trans family member -- someone who has shared their experiences and added immeasurably to my training and experience when working the community.
I have personal experience which compliments my professional training in helping kids, teens, parents, families, and individual adults from many different backgrounds. I believe that time & effort spent collaboratively in therapy may lead to improvements in sense of self, in relationships, & increasing harmony in our lives.
